The Parks and Recreation Committee will be holding a special meeting on Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Hall to gather public input on a proposed park development on East Grand Lake Road (across the street from the Township Hall). The Parks and Recreation Committee will be hosting a Labor Day picnic on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m at the New Lighthouse Park.  This event is free of charge, but donations are always appreciated.

The Township Hall offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00 a.m.

Meet at the Township Hall.  Bags, vests, and grabbers will be provided; just bring your own gloves.  In case of rain, the cleanup will be held the following Saturday, September 26th at the same time (9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
