The Presque Isle Township Parks and Recreation Committee will be hosting a July 4th Picnic on Saturday, July 5th, 2025, from 11am-1pm at the New Lighthouse Park immediately following the Friends of the Grand Lake Library’s Independence Day parade which starts at 10:30 (line up begins at 10:15am). The menu will be grilled hot dogs, chips, cookies and lemonade. There will also be children’s games sponsored by the Grand Lake Association, Grand Lake Sportsmen’s Club, Presque Isle Harbor Association, and the Presque Isle Men’s Club. Fireworks will take place at the Presque Isle Harbor at dusk (organized by the Presque Isle Fun Raisers). All events are free of charge. Free will donations are welcome!
