The Presque Isle Township Parks and Recreation Committee will be hosting a July 4th Picnic on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the New Lighthouse Park immediately following the Friends of the Grand Lake Library’s Independence Day parade which starts at 10:30 (line up begins at 10:00 a.m.) The menu will include hot dogs, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, cookies, and beverages. Fireworks will take place at the Presque Isle Harbor at dusk (organized by the Presque Isle Fun Raisers). All events are free of charge!
