Burnham’s Landing is a historical, waterfront site located at the intersection of Pineview and E. Grand Lake Rd. This site is accessible from the bike path. There are swings, picnic tables, and parking available. This is a private location that is owned by the the Presque Isle Harbor Assoc., however, public access is permitted.
The Homestead Park is located along E. Grand Lake Rd. adjacent to the Grand Lake Community Chapel, historic Kauffman Homestead, and Presque Isle District Library. There is a volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball hoops, playground equipment, picnic tables, and a restroom. The site is open to the public, and accessible from the bike path.
New Lighthouse Park:
The New Lighthouse Park is a 98 acre, historic, water-front park located at the end of E. Grand Lake Rd. The park is open to the public. The lighthouse tower, gift shop, and museum are open from mid May through mid October. Marked walking/skiing trails run throughout the property and include beach front access.
Old Lighthouse Park:
The Old Lighthouse Park is a 29 acre, historic, water-front park located along E. Grand Lake Rd. The Lighthouse tower and gift shop/museum is open from mid-May through mid-October. Walking/skiing trails run through the property and include beach-front access, however, locked gates after hours and in the off season prevent some access points. The park is accessible, year round, through the DNR pathway (which begins at the harbor).
Range Light Park:
The Range Light Park is located along E. Grand Lake Rd. just before the harbor. The water-front park is open to the public. Parking is available across the street, and the park is also accessible from the bike path. There is a sandy beach, designated swimming area (no lifeguard on duty), picnic tables, and restroom facility.
